The Rotary Club of Karur Central hosted its signature முப்பெரும் விழா (Grand Trinity Event) — a heartfelt gathering that beautifully blended honour, gratitude, and celebration. The function comprised three meaningful segments, each reflecting the club’s values of service, recognition, and fellowship. Hosted in the pleasant hours of the morning to noon at Hotel Ashok Palace, Manmangalam, Karur, the event radiated warmth and joy, bringing together Rotarians and their families in a spirit of unity.
It was a delightful occasion filled with heartfelt moments, proud recognitions, and joyful celebrations — a true reflection of Rotary’s purpose of serving with compassion and cherishing togetherness.
The first highlight was the Rotary Nayagan Award, honouring excellence in service and celebrating those who embody the motto “Service Above Self.” The second was the Teachers’ Day Celebration, a heartfelt tribute to educators whose wisdom and dedication continue to shape generations. The third was Celebrations & Reflections, fellowship in full bloom, where joy, laughter, and cherished memories created an atmosphere of togetherness. From the very beginning, the gathering carried an air of elegance. Smiles and greetings filled the hall, setting the tone for a day of compassion, camaraderie, and shared pride in Rotary’s mission.
🏅 Rotary Nayagan Award – Honouring Excellence in Service
In a gesture of deep respect and admiration, the club conferred the Rotary Nayagan Honourary Award to two distinguished Rotarians:

👩🏫 Teachers’ Day Celebration – A Heartfelt Tribute to Educators
The event also celebrated Teachers’ Day, honoring the invaluable role of educators in shaping society. Members shared heartfelt reflections on the transformative power of education, the selfless dedication of teachers, and the lasting values they instill in generations. As a gesture of gratitude and appreciation, all the teachers were presented with a special token of appreciation. The celebration was made even more meaningful with the presence of teachers invited from Mavericks Garden Learning Center, Velayuthampalayam, creating a moment of reverence, joy, and renewed commitment to supporting education through Rotary service.
🎂 Celebrations & Reflections – Fellowship in Full Bloom
The final segment was a joyful celebration of personal milestones within the Rotary family. We celebrated the birthday and wedding day of Rtn. G. Naveenkumar, along with special wishes for Rtn. Praveen Kumar S. and Rtn. Sathya Praveen Kumar, and Rtn. V. S. Baskaran and Rtn. K. Shanmugapriya. The occasion was marked by cake cutting, warm wishes, and a grand fellowship lunch, shared with Rotarians and their families. It was a beautiful reminder that Rotary is not just a platform for service—it is a community built on relationships, joy, and shared purpose.
